Background was done with Dylusions ink spray with a Tim Holtz background stamp to add a bit of detail and some blending of the colours using Distress Ink pads . But out the squares of some paper I had lying around and did a couple of lines of machine stitching, then finally finished off with some stamping in 3 different colours using Lavinia stamps. I did the lettering with rub ons - it didnt work as well as I hoped but all in all I like the end result.
Wow, gorgeous! I LOVE the stitching! x
ReplyDeleteWow, I LOVE our page. I am just wondering how you did the stitching.... It is amazing!
ReplyDeleteHi thanks - i knew i wanted to do some stitching and didnt think there was any way i could get my journal into the machine and the small hand held machine only does round the edge. so i decided to do it on a separate sheet and stick it into my journal later. However there was a lot of rolling the page up and some very odd cornering to get it done. But it was easier than i thought it would be!
